Douglas "Doug" Allen Hall

Douglas Allen Hall, 68, of Conneautville, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 31, 2022 at home.

Doug was born in Meadville, on September 4, 1953, a son of the late Marvin Lee and Norma Jean (Mosier) Hall.

On May 5, 1973, Doug married Dorothy Diana Sample; she survives.

Doug retired from Delphi Packard, Warren, OH, after 19 years of service. He had previously been employed by Moldex of Meadville for more than 20 years. Having attended Meadville Schools through 10th grade, he was a 1971 graduate of the former Randolph East Mead High School. Doug's hobbies included golfing, hunting, and fishing. He also liked riding around in his 2016 Mustang as well as his 28 Model A Ford. His greatest joy in life was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Doug will be remembered as a great friend to many and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife Dorothy of 48 years, Doug is survived by two children Marvin D. Hall (Brandy) of Oil City, Stacey Maddox (Mark) of Conneaut Lake; four grandchildren Jillan Williams, Cody Hall, Riley Hall, Haylee Lewis; two brothers Timothy Hall, Jeffrey Hall (Tammy) both of Meadville; several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held with a public Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 2-4 PM at Vernon Central Hose Co., 16589 McMath Ave., Meadville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Doug's memory to a charity of donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
