Janice A. Crecraft

Janice A. Crecraft, 79, of Jamestown, NY, formerly of Meadville, passed away Monday, September 2nd, at Heritage Park Rehab, Jamestown, NY.

Janice was born in Dunkirk, NY on December 24, 1939, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Arline M. (Bremer) Meadows.

On March 23, 1968 Janice married Richard N. Crecraft; he preceded her in death on September 22, 2009. She previously had married Carl A. Patterson on June 13, 1959.

Janice loved to read and enjoyed baking, doing embroidery and word searches. She loved Jesus, her family and adored her cat Squirt.

Janice is survived by five children Theresa Ranney of Jamestown, NY, Michael Patterson of Heartford, CN, Steven Patterson of Fredonia, NY, Elizabeth Perry (William "Bill") of Lakewood, NY, Joel Crecraft of Jamestown, NY, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a sister Sharon Dhondt of Jamestown, NY, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Richard, of 41 years, Janice was preceded in death by a brother Dale Meadows and a stepson Rick Crecraft.

Family and friends are invited to call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4th at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Temple Jarrell of New Beginnings Church of God, officiating.

Janice will be laid to rest at Kiser Hill Cemetery, East Mead Twp.
