Julio O. Risco

Julio O. Risco, 60, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center.

Julio was born in Santiago de Chuco, Peru, on January 18, 1961, a son of the late Carlos and Teresa (Saavedra) Risco.

On June 18, 1988 Julio married Coral Rios; she survives.

Julio was employed in Quality Control for Geometric Design & Technology, Inc. of Meadville, and was previously employed by Advanced Cast Products and Acutec Precision. He enjoyed music and dance as well as reading. He also enjoyed following soccer and football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Julio's family and friends were very important to him and he possessed a deep rooted love for them. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife Coral, of 33 years, Julio is survived by their beloved son Dr. Carlos Risco of Trujillo, Peru; two sisters Nieves Risco, Clarisa Risco, both of Peru; three brothers Carlos E. Risco (Kerry) of Meadville, Abraham Risco, Manuel Risco, both of Peru; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Julio was preceded in death by a brother Manuel E. Risco.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 PM on Monday, June 21, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, with Fr. Philip Oriole officiating. For those not able to attend, the mass will be live streamed on facebook live via Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.
