Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Bernoski

Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Bernoski, 76, of Martinsburg, WV, formerly of Meadville, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at The Grove at New Castle.

Kathy was born in Meadville, on February 25, 1947, a daughter of the late Charles and Rita (Dick) Bernoski.

She had been a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

A graduate of Cambridge Springs High School, Kathy was also a graduate of the former Erie Business Center. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist at Meadville Medical Center for over 30 years. While her son, Marcus, was in school, she was a faithful volunteer at Seton Catholic School. In her younger days she was a member of a bowling league and while growing up had been involved with 4H. Kathy was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed watching the games with her mom. She also enjoyed doing word searches and crossword puzzles. She was a loving fur grandmother to Marcus's dog, Max, and she was a most devoted mother.

Kathy is survived by a son Marcus Perry of Martinsburg; two sisters Judy Quinlan of Erie, Marilyn Smith (Paul) of Saegertown; two brothers John Bernoski, James Bernoski both of Saegertown; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by two sisters in law Carolyn Bernoski, Judy Bernoski; a brother in law David Quinlan; and a niece Cheryl Kightlinger.

Family and friends are invited to call from 3-6 PM on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday.

Kathy will be laid to rest in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathy's memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Gentiva Hospice, 26 Nesbitt Rd., #200, New Castle, PA 16105.
