Richard "Rick" Lynn Peters

Richard "Rick" Lynn Peters, 64, of Cambridge Springs, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Rick was born in Meadville, on August 7, 1959, a son of the late Russel L. and Doris (Stavey) Peters.

Rick worked at Lord Corporation in Cambridge Springs for many years before starting his own business as general contractor He had a great passion for woodworking and creating one of a kind pieces for friends and family. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt. Rick took great pleasure in hunting and hunting competitions with his bird dog, Chance. Together he and Chance won many competitions. Rick was also a dedicated Steelers fan.

Rick is survived by two daughters Michelle Beck (Brent), Amy Newell (Nick), both of Cambridge Springs; four grandchildren Mackenzie, Braden, Dakota, Jayden; two sisters, his twin, Robin Groll (Gary) of Cambridge Springs, Sharon Boone of Victoria, TX; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by a brother Terry Peters; two sisters Lonana Kerr and infant Cheryl Ann; and nephew Jody Kerr.

Per Rick's wishes no services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
