Robert Miller Whitbeck

Robert Miller Whitbeck, 75, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 11, 2016, at his home in Lodi, NY.

Bob was born in Meadville, on March 18, 1941, a son of the late Robert Whitbeck and Norma (Miller) Whitbeck.

Bob was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and attended Allegheny College. Throughout his 40 year career as an electrician, he was a proud member of IBEW Local 712, and served as its treasurer.

In addition, Bob was master woodworker having built and remodeled several homes. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with his family. In recent years, he traveled locally and throughout the country on his Spyder with his friends.

Bob is survived by his wife Kay (Huckleberry) Whitbeck of Lodi, NY, children Laura (Judy Ames) Whitbeck of Rochester, NY, and Susan Whitbeck of Bradford, along with Clifford (Ellen) Davis of Ellisburg, NY, William Davis of Waterford, Holly (Scott) Tucci of Edinboro, and Rebecca (Jeff) Humes of Saegertown, and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Donald (EvaJane) Whitbeck of Saegertown, John (Phil Bianca) Whitbeck of Santa Fe, NM, and Barbara (Richard) Barron of Erie, along with many dear cousins.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by MaryAnn (Rush) Whitbeck.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St. Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM.

Bob will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery.
