Tyson Jay Phillips

Tyson Jay Phillips, 38, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, as the result of an accident.

Tyson was born in Jacksonville, NC on August 25, 1984, a son of Bradley Allen and Penny L. (Whippo) Phillips.

Tyson loved fishing, gaming and spending time with his son.

Tyson is survived by a son Daemon Phillips; his mother Penny Gamble (Gary) of Meadville; his father Bradley Phillips of Saegertown; siblings Lindsay Rickel, Misty Smock both of Meadville, Michael Pope of Colorado Springs, CO; maternal grandfather David Whippo; aunts and uncles Charla Ross, Joseph Phillips, Michael Whippo; several cousins; nieces; and nephews.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Joseph " Wayne" and Harriet Phillips, maternal grandmother Patricia Darling; nephews Connor McGrath and Gary Alexander (Smock).

Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM with Corey Norman officiating.
