Baby Adalie Jean Carpenter, 3 days old, of Meadville, entered heaven on Friday, December 1, 2023.
Adalie was born at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, on November 29, 2023, a daughter of Joshua R. and Emily R. (Ferguson) Carpenter.
The birth name that was chosen for her, Adalie, has the meaning "God is my refuge" and Jean was also the middle name of her much beloved grandmother, Dr. Brenda Jean Ferguson. There is comfort in knowing Baby Adalie is in the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, Adalie is survived by her maternal grandfather Gerald Ferguson of Conneaut Lake; paternal grandparents Mark and Shari Carpenter of Spring Creek; maternal great grandmothers Helen Ferguson of Kent, Ann Hollis of Spring Church; paternal great grandmother Amy Jones of Union City; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Adalie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Dr. Brenda Ferguson; maternal great grandfathers James Ferguson, Richard Hollis; paternal great grandparents Brian Jones, Sr., James and Kathleen Carpenter.
Family and friends are invited to call from 12-1 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville, where Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Clint Zeigler officiating.
Adalie will be laid to rest with her grandmother in Greendale Cemetery.
