Agnes Marie (Yurcak) Parise went to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She died very peacefully at the Bridgeview Home, Ormond Beach, Fl. God decided it was time to come home and gently lifted her to where she once again is able to be the sweet caring loving angel that can behold and know the Paradise she so earned…PERFECT.
She was born at home in Cambridge Springs, on April 27, 1924 to the late Josephine (Oskvarek) and Ignatius-James Yurcak. [Jurczak.] She married Joseph "Pep" Parise on January 10, 1948 after meeting at Talon Zipper Factory in the 40’s and settled in Meadville to raise their four children.
The family were members of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church before leaving for Ormond Beach, Florida in 1986 upon retirement. Agnes left Talon to raise her children but helped with her husband’s insurance agency and rental properties in Meadville; later she worked in food service at Allegheny College for several years. Then in Florida she worked as a domestic caretaker and helped to supervise the rental properties there. Our mother was very talented in making clothes and in canning and freezing all the foods and meats acquired from her very own brother’s farm and harvest. She was a master Chef of every meal and Holidays were beyond spectacular. She had a beautiful soprano voice and sang in the choir at their church, Prince of Peace, of Ormond Beach, FL. She and her husband enjoyed seeing countless musical artists over the years. She took much pride and joy in the time spent with her beloved grandchildren, helping to raise and always nurturing them with her grandmotherly love. She faithfully walked her doggie loves, Sam, Taco and Lou throughout the years.
She leaves behind to honor her memory husband, Joseph, of 68 years, and four children, daughter Linda and husband Lou Myers of Meadville, daughter Gina Kaloostian and daughter Nancy Parise both of Ormond Beach, FL, and son Dennis Parise and wife Patricia who reside in The Netherlands; Granddaughter Lynette and Brian Olson, children Cameron and Riley of Cochranton, Granddaughter Amy and Tom Longstreth, children Jacob, Lauren and Haley of Georgia, Grandson Ron and Kaori Kaloostian, children, Joe, Rei and Lui of Tokyo, Japan, Grandson Dustin Kaloostian of Ormond Beach, FL, Grandson Corey Kaloostian of California, Grandson Aron and Alexis Kaloostian of St Pete, FL and their father Ron Kaloostian of Ormond Beach FL, Grandson Anthony Johnston, son Gabe of Ormond Beach, FL, Granddaughter Hollie Johnston of Jacksonville, FL, Grandson Dominic Johnston, active duty United States Navy, Norfolk VA, Granddaughters Valentina and Angelina and Grandson Marco Parise all of The Netherlands; her brother, Raymond Yurcak and sister Pauline Andrews of Erie; sister-in law Marie Yurcak of Edinboro; brother-in-law John Parise of Meadville; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Jim, Gus, Wendell, Bill, Andy Yurcak and sister Ann Kineston and her eldest grandson Lenny Myers.
