Ann Pete

Ann Pete, 96, of 10606 Franklin Pike, Meadville, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at AristaCare at Park Avenue.

Ann was born in Meadville, on October 1, 1921, a daughter of the late Angelo and Elizabeth (Furno) Nuzzulo.

On February 14, 1953 Ann married Paul Pete; he preceded her in death on December 8, 2001.

In her earlier days Ann had been employed in the Processing Department of the former American Viscose and by the former Westinghouse, where she met her husband. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Ann is survived by a son John Pete and his wife Barbara of Erie, a grandson Brian Pete, a beloved niece Sharon, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Paul, of 47 years, Ann was preceded in death by two brothers John and Ernest Nuzzulo, three sisters Lena Bizzaro, Dorothy Nuzzulo and Jenny Bizzaro.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 24, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Tom Trocchio, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Ann will be entombed next to her husband, Paul, in St. Brigid Cemetery.
