Anna Renee Schmitz

Anna Renee Schmitz passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents, Shawn and Megan Schmitz on November 22nd, 2013 at Childrens Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Anna was born on November 14th, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.

During her short time on Earth, Anna touched many lives and was deeply loved and cherished by family, friends and everyone who met her.

Anna was received into Heaven by her Great-Grandparents, Joseph Zejavac, Edward and Jennie Schmitz, Arthur and Dorothy Williams, and Eleanor McDonald.

In addition to her parents, Anna is survived by her Great-Grandmother, Yolanda Zejavac, Grandmothers, Kathy Zejavac and Brenda Stevens, Grandfathers, Charles Schmitz and Mark Williams, an Uncle, Nathan Williams, Aunts, Jessica Schmitz and Amy Williams (and her fiance, Ben Custard), cousins, Gracelyn Cowher and Travis Custard, and several Great Aunts, Uncles and extended cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Marc Solomon, Pastor, officiating.

Annas family would like to thank all the Doctors, nurses and staff at Childrens Hospital and Meadville Medical Center whose valiant efforts gave us a beautiful week with our precious angel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Baby Anna Schmitz trust at any First National Bank Branch to help the family pay for medical expenses, and any additional funds will be used to help other families cope with the loss of a child.

Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery West Mead Twp.
