Anthony "Tony" S. Fallara

Anthony "Tony" S. Fallara, 85, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. 

Tony was born in Punxsutawney, on August 19, 1938, a son of the late Anthony and Santina (Labozzetta) Fallara.

On August 18, 1972 Tony married Carolyn White; she survives. 

Tony was employed by Crawford Central School District as a 4th grade teacher at Neason Hill Elementary School for 38 years, retiring in 2000. He was a veteran of the US Army. Tony enrolled at Clarion College and earned his B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock College. In the mid 1970's Tony was instrumental in staring up the 7th and 8th grade Football Program. An avid golfer, he equally loved both playing and watching golf for more than 50 years. Tony also enjoyed woodworking and had a keen eye for chiseling intricate details. Time spent with family was very important to him. He will be sadly missed. 

In addition to his wife, Carolyn, Tony is survived by two children Vincent Fallara of Meadville, Christina Fallara of Austin, TX; two brothers Joseph Fallara of Punxsutawney, John Fallara (Brenda) of Lake Havasu City, AZ; three nieces and eight nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by a sister Mary Lorelli; a brother Carmen Fallara; two nieces; and a nephew.
