Arlene C. Wentz

Arlene C. Wentz, 70, of 316 Lincoln Ave., Meadville, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, at home.

Arlene was born in Port Monmouth, NJ, on June 29, 1946, a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Witterschein) Huys.

For many years Arlene was employed as a counselor for the ARC of Monmouth County, NJ. She had previously been employed as a secretary for Bell Labs, also in New Jersey. A graduate of Monmouth County schools, that is also where she resided most of her life. Her hobbies and interest were flower gardening and making ceramics, including pouring, firing and painting them.

Arlene is survived by a son Jason A. Wentz and his wife Tracy of Guys Mills, a daughter Jessica M. Haas and her husband Scott of Oil City, three grandchildren Hans Wentz, Heidi Wentz, Holly Wentz, two sisters Kathleen Oleson and her husband Richard of Holmdel, NJ, Melanie Cramer and her husband Richard of Little Silver, NJ, a brother Luke Huys and his wife Amy of Colts Neck, NJ, six nieces and nephews Julie Clementi, Tony Kolznak, Madeline Huys, George Kolznak, Sarah Huys and Rebecca Cramer.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Kolznak.

Services will be private.
