B. Patricia "Pat" Schlosser

B. Patricia "Pat" Schlosser, 91, of Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center.

Pat was born in Peters Township, PA, on May 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Alfred and Evelyn (Elza) Phillips.

On September 29, 1951, Pat married Raymond A. Schlosser; he survives.

She attended Christ Evangelical Free Church, Saegertown.

After nearly 30 years of service, Pat retired in 1999 from Penncrest School District where she had worked in the office of Cambridge Springs Elementary School. She had previously been employed at various local grocery stores. Prior to starting her family she was employed in the former City Hospital lab. Her family moved to Crawford County when she was in 9th grade and she became a 1951 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School. Pat had many hobbies and interest including collecting dolls, making quilts and crafts, crocheting, bowling and gardening, especially flower gardening. For 21 years she and Ray spent the winters in Engelwood, FL, where she enjoyed biking. Her deep sense of patriotism was with her, wherever she went. She took pride in flying her great American flag. Her family was very important to her. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Raymond, of 72 years, Pat is survived by six children Linda Price (Walter), Wayne Schlosser (Edie), Patricia Schlosser, Scott Schlosser (Tammy) all of Saegertown, Mark Schlosser (Lisa) of North East, Todd Schlosser (Colleen) of Saegertown; ten grandchildren Jennifer Smith, Joshua Schlosser, Ryan Schlosser, Ben Schlosser, Chris Schlosser, Doug Griesbaum, Brittni Schlosser, Derek Schlosser, Jeremy Schlosser, Tiffany Broomfield; 14 great grandchildren; one great granddaughter on the way; one great great granddaughter on the way; two sisters Thelma Hall of Lake Placid, FL, Marion Saeger (Elwin) of Cambridge Springs; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a granddaughter Megan (Price) Hemlock; two great grandchildren Isaac and Blakely; two brothers Alfred and William Phillips.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1:30-4 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Christ Evangelical Free Church, 19682 Hill Road, Saegertown, where Funeral Services will follow at 4 PM with Rev. Jeff Wilson, Pastor, officiating.

Pat will be laid to rest in Saegertown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat's memory to Christ Evangelical Free Church, 19682 Hill Rd., or Common Grounds of Crawford County, 19473 Grotto Lane, both in Saegertown, PA 16433.
