Barbara J. Molnar, 84 of 11037 Edgewood Dr., Conneaut Lake, formerly of Chicora, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community, Conneautville.

Barbara was born in Punxsutawney, on November 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Baker) Compagnola.

On June 30, 1956 Barbara married Frank J. Molnar; he survives.

Barbara was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas, Conneaut Lake, and a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Butler.

She was a graduate of St. Adrian Catholic High School, Delancey. Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. She will be remembered for being an exceptional cook and baker, especially around the holidays. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing and making ceramic crafts as well as other types of crafts.

In addition to her husband Frank of 61 years Barbara is survived by a son Dr. John C. Molnar of Conneaut Lake, two granddaughters Kayla Marie and Natalie Jo Molnar, and a brother Joseph Compagnola of Delancey.

Barbara was preceded in death by a son Joseph Molnar and a brother Anthony Compagnola.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 3-6 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 4:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of the Americas, Conneaut Lake, on Wednesday, December 13, at 11:00 AM with Fr. David Carter, Parochial Administrator, officiating.

Barbara will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
