Bessie L. Estes

Bessie L. Estes, 71, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at Meadville Medical Center.

Bessie was born in Como, MS on June 30, 1944, a daughter of the late George and Rossetta (Wilkins) Barber.

She was a member of Beacon Liberty St. Temple Church of God in Christ, Meadville.

Bessie attended Carver High School in Memphis, TN. She enjoyed fishing, drawing, dancing, music, Bingo and interacting with her family.

Leaving to cherish her memory are two sons Tyrone Estes of Meadville, Carlton Estes of Bellefonte, a daughter Cubie Estes of PA, two granddaughters Kristal and Andrea both of Memphis, TN, five great grandchildren Karla, Makayla, Malik, Kai'Den, Khylan all of Memphis, TN, five sisters Georgia Cummings, Louise Bailey both of Meadville, Rose Porter, E. Sarafinya Neloms both of Erie, Annie Mae Pope of Milwaukee, WI,a brother L.C. Barber of Memphis, TN, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on from Sunday 3 - 5 PM at Beacon Liberty St. Temple Church of God in Christ where A Going Home Service will be held at 5 PM at, with Pastor Larry Wofford officiating.
