Bonnie "Bonita" E. (Allen) Lenhardt, 77, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center.
Bonnie was born in Bellows Falls, VT, on October 17, 1946, a daughter of the late Dale and Mary Elizabeth (Locke) Allen.
Bonnie was a 1964 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School. In 1974 she became employed as a secretary at Conneaut Valley High School and finished a 35 year career, retiring in 2009. Additionally she served as a football and basketball cheerleading coach. She enjoyed reading and spending time with friends, especially her bowling team and school mates, but most of all she loved being with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her children Doug (Lucy) Lenhardt, Pamela (James) Shreve, Deborah Lenhardt; her grandchildren Dustin (Emily), Brandon (Mary Ann), Corey (Kasey), Brooke, and Jacob Lenhardt, Matthew (Mackenzie) Shreve, Alyssa Uhlig, Logan Shreve, Glenn Lenhardt, and Austin Lenhardt-Barley; great grandchildren Faith and Grayson Lenhardt, Allyson Lenhardt, Lucas Lenhardt, Thaddeus Shreve, Hailie, Landon and Kehlani Uhlig. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Campbell; and the father of her children Ray Lenhardt.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a granddaughter Faith Elizabeth Shreve; brothers Bob and Bill Allen; sisters Betty Utz and Patsy Allen; sister-in-law JoAnn Allen; brother-in-law Paul Campbell.
Memorials may be made to the Conneaut Valley Alumni Association 103 Plateau Drive Conneautville, PA 16406, the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute of Meadville, PA, or your local library.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Conneautville Church of Christ with Lea Guiney and Barry Campbell officiating.
Bonnie will be laid to rest in Conneautville Cemetery.
