Bonnie Jean Luce

Bonnie Jean (Dressler) Luce, 75, of 27485 Highway 77, Cambridge Springs, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, at AristaCare at Park Avenue, Meadville.

Bonnie was born in DuBois on June 11, 1942, a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Elma Hazel Marquerita (Brubaker) Dressler.

On March 4, 1973 Bonnie married Larry W. Luce, he survives.

She had been a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church, Rockton.

After 24 years of service Bonnie retired in 2008 from Penncrest School District. She was a 1960 graduate of DuBois High School. A member of French Creek Valley Horse Club, her favorite pastimes included horseback riding and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed bowling and taking care of her beloved cats.

In addition to her husband, Larry of 44 years, Bonnie is survived by a son David Nairn and his wife Kelly of Jacksonville, NC, two daughters Suzanne Nairn of Meadville, Barbara Lee Coombs of Seattle, WA, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two sisters Patricia Briggs and her husband Bill of Falls Creek, Sandy Hess of Brockway, two brothers David Dressler and his wife Robin of Reynoldsville, Michael Dressler and his wife Tanya of Rockton, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by a brother Regis Dressler, two sisters Cora Lee Kuntz and Mary Jo Duttrey.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Bonnie will be laid to rest in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
