Brian Russell Hannold

Brian Russell Hannold, 62, of 625 Park Ave., Meadville, passed away October 13, 2017, at home.

Brian was born in Meadville, on November 11, 1954, a son of Marjorie (Crabb) Hannold and the late Russell Hannold.

He had been a member of the former State Road Methodist Church. A US veteran, Brian enlisted in the US Army on November 25, 1981 and was honorably discharged on November 24, 1985, having attained the rank of Sergeant. He served with the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment known as "Tomahawk". He was a graduate of Meadville High School. Brian worked at various places in the Meadville area, including Salt Painting. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Brian is survived by his mother Marjorie Mazick of Meadville, a brother Jeffrey Hannold and his wife Lora of Meadville, his step sister Monica Whitson and her husband Jim of Huntly, IL, many nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by a brother Daniel "Animal" Hannold, a sister Julie Riley, his step father Bill Mazick and a step brother Bill Mazick, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-5 PM on Friday at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM, with Rev. Darrell Greenawalt officiating. Full Military Honors will follow.
