Calvin Bradley, Jr.

Calvin Bradley, Jr., 83, of 1014 Forest Green, Meadville, passed away December 15, 2017.

He was born in Memphis, TN, on June 26, 1935 to the late Calvin Bradley, Sr. and Lucille (Burnett) Bradley. He was the first of the ten children to be born to this union.

He was employed at Teledine Penn Union in Edinboro for a number of years. He was a crossing guard for Crawford Central School District and received many awards for his service. Calvin loved singing the Gospel in church, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed helping people when he had the opportunity; he loved God and attended church for many years in Ashtabula, Ohio.

He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters Patricia Bradley of Dayton, OH, Cathlene Bradley of Cleveland, OH, Tamika (Andy) Rice of Meadville, Brandy (Phillip) Scales of Winston Salem, NC; two sons Calvin Bradley of Columbus, OH and William (Man) McMillan of Seattle, WA. He had twelve grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters Laura Ann Taylor, Cora Lee Morton, Francis Bradley, six brothers Thomas, George, Isaiah, Albert, Charles and Frank Bradley.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 11-12 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Home Going Service will be held at 12 PM with Pastor Markus McDaniel of United Faith Fellowship Church, officiating.
