Carl W. Mccartney

Carl W. McCartney, 68, of 26922 State Hwy. 98, Edinboro, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.

Carl was born in Meadville, on December 9, 1950, a son of the late Donald and Cecelia (Stadler) McCartney.

Carl had been employed by the former Abex and the former Meadville Plating. A 1969 graduate of Saegertown High School, Carl entered the US Army on March 22, 1971 and served his country until his honorable discharge on October 29, 1972.

Carl is survived by two daughters Crystal McCartney of Cambridge Springs, Jennefer McCartney of Mercer, five grandchildren Madison Hoover, Christopher Hoover, Chloe Hoover, Lexi Rombold, Shaun McCartney, a brother Dennis McCartney and his wife Judi of Saegertown, a dear friend July Pears and her family of Saegertown with whom he was very close, many nieces and nephews,

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by two brothers Ronald L. McCartney and an infant brother Donald W. McCartney.

Services will be private.
