Carolyn E. Nichols

Carolyn E. Nichols, 59, of Meadville, passed away on her 40th wedding anniversary, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center.

Carolyn was born in Meadville, on February 3, 1962, a daughter of the late Vincent and Laura (Scott) Beige.

On October 30, 1981, Carolyn married Bruce E. Nichols, Jr.; he survives.

She was an active member of the former Living Waters Church, Meadville.

A 1980 graduate of Meadville High School, Carolyn had been employed by C & J Industries for 17 years. In the seven years that followed she was employed by Meadville Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department and as an Operating Room Technician. Carolyn was an avid Garth Brooks fan and she loved traveling to the ocean. The most important thing in her life was her family. She treasured time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Bruce, Carolyn is survived by two daughters Kristina Nichols (companion Casey), Kayla Nichols (companion Chris), both of Meadville; six beloved grandchildren Mariyah Nichols, Victor Cafaro, Jr., Brooklynn Nichols, Kalynn Petruso, Reese Hlopick, Avary Hlopick; two sisters Valerie Brokus (Jim) of Bel Air, MD, Alice Hrehocik (Eric) of Florida; a brother Jim Beige (Andrea) of Saegertown; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Carolyn's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
