Carolyn Jane Robison

Carolyn Jane Robison,74, of Meadville, passed away February 13, 2024.

Carolyn was born in Meadville, on March 25, 1949, a daughter of the late Gerald and June (Smith) Walton, of OH.

On September 13, 2014, Carolyn married Larry Robison; he survives.

From a very young age, Carolyn was an avid animal lover. She cared for so many of her own horses, dogs and a skunk. Along with her own pets, she cared for Meadville area pets through her business, Classy Canine.

Carolyn operated Classy Canine for over 30 years. During that time Carolyn and her staff focused on supporting the community through the “Angel Tree” donations from their amazing customers to raise money for different animal related organizations. Most recently these donations were used in support of the K-9 unit of the Meadville City Police Department.

Carolyn, affectionately known as “Mima” to family, was invested in those around her. Regularly insuring those she cared for had what they needed, she provided opportunities to better their lives. Whether it be a place to stay, or a position at Classy Canine, “Mima” took care of those around her and was always good for a laugh.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Larry, and their son Conor Robison, her daughter Danae Meloney (James) of Pittsburgh, and her son Brandon McWilliams of Baton Rouge, LA.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by a son Dustin Evans of Erie.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made at the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, or to the Meadville Police K-9 Unit, 894 Diamond Park, both in Meadville, PA 16335.
