Cathy A. (Brenot) Duell

Cathy Ann Brenot Duell, 52, of 25055 Stizerville Rd. Cochranton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at UPMC Medical Center, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.

Cathy was born in Cleveland, OH on March 11, 1962, the beloved daughter of the late Carl A. and Madelyn (Dimick) Brenot.

On January 16, 1992 Cathy married Michael W. Duell; he survives.

Cathy was a 1980 graduate of Cochranton High School. She spent her life as a homemaker and a full-time, stay at home parent. Her pride was always her family and she devoted everything to them. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially at Christmas time, which she loved. In addition, she enjoyed crocheting and making blankets. If she lived by one saying, it would be treating others the way you want to be treated, as she was always helping those in need.

In addition to her husband, Michael of 22 years, Cathy is survived by two daughters Blair Duell of Greenville, Darlene Reid of Cochranton, two sons Salvatore Balsamo of San Diego, CA, Anthony Balsamo of Oklahoma, two grandchildren Adam Reid, Autumn Reid both of Cochranton, three sisters Jami Shelton of Kenmare, ND, Dana Sliker of Conneaut Lake, Denise Bowersox of Meadville, two brothers Christopher Moye, Kelly Moye both of Cleveland, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a beloved grandchild in April of 2014, two brothers David A. Brenot in 2004 and Larry Moye in 2010.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.
