Charles Albert Authier

Charles Albert Authier, 84, of Saegertown, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Crawford County Care Center.

Charles was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 20, 1936, a son of the late Lawrence Authier and Lila Mackey.

He married Carol Timons; she predeceased him October 2017.

A graduate of Cass Technical School in Detroit, Charles was employed as an Design Engineer, having worked for General Motors and The Ford Motor Company in Michigan. He had also been employed by the former Talon, Inc., D.I.C. Tool and Maloney Tool and Die of Meadville. He enjoyed listening to music and recorded books. He will be most remembered for his charm, wit, creativity and sense of humor.

Charles is survived by his former wife Golda Swartz, two sons David and Dan Authier; grandchildren Nathaniel and Bella Authier; as well as his sister-in-law Dotty and two nieces Cindy and Lorine.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Authier.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, Pa.
