Charles Cross, 82, passed away February 25, 2020, in Columbus, OH.

Born July 8, 1937 at the family home in Bloomfield Twp. PA, he was a son of the late Roy and Vella (Parkhurst) Cross.

Following his graduation from Union City High School, Charles graduated from Devry University in Chicago, IL in 1959, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Chuck retired from the former McInnes Steel Corporation in Corry. In 1963 he entered the US Army and served his country honorably before serving in the National Guard. While living in Meadville, he and his wife Mary were members of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church and the Italian Civic Club.

He is survived by a son CJ Cross (Kimberly) of Youngsville and a daughter Debbie Cross of Houston, TX. He is further survived by several grandchildren, as well as Rosanne Peters of Erie, Steven Luzier of Worthington Hills, OH, Thomas Luzier of Meadville, Robert Luzier of Dublin, OH; two sisters Marion Willhite (Gene) of Seattle WA, Rosaline Magee of Harbor Creek; sister in law Margaret McHale (Patrick) of Meadville; many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by the love of his life Mary (Luzier) Cross, and his twin sister Cecile Cole.

Chuck was always full of life. He always had a cowboy hat, and boots on. He also was a #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He had a booming voice and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was most at home at the family farm in Lincolnville, PA.

Private services will be held at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, with Rev. Marvin Burnett officiating.

Charles will be laid to rest in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
