Charles Delmar Reynolds, Jr.

Charles Delmar Reynolds, Jr., 77, of 32453 Seiler Rd., Townville, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, June 30, 2017, at his daughter's home, where he resided.

Charles was born in Cherry Tree, on October 1, 1939, a son of the late Charles and Florence (Carter) Reynolds.

On September 25, 1962 Charles married Helen Szinai; she preceded him in death on March 12, 2001.

For many years Charles had been employed as a pig farmer, raising and selling pigs to many different vendors. He had also been employed as a logger in the Titusville/Cherry Tree area. Additionally, he worked as a driver for the Amish and traveled with them often and to many different states, even as far as California. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and camping. Charles was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved all his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

Charles is survived by a daughter Veronica Horn and her husband David of Townville, two grandchildren Kody Reynolds, TJ McCaslin, three great grandchildren Halie Proctor, Mia Proctor, Cadence Reynolds, two brothers Harold Reynolds and his wife Mary of Meadville, Virgil Reynolds and his wife Sue of Knox, four sisters Cora Mae Burrows of Titusville, Frances Chavis of Florida, Beverly Dailey and her husband Bill, Bonnie Burrows and her husband Gerald both of Oil City, two Goddaughters Sara Nichols, Kaitlyn Smith, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Helen, of 39 years, Charles was preceded in death by a son Charles Reynolds, a grandson Nathan Reynolds, seven sisters Leona Nichols, Louise Cherico, Janice Proctor, Saundra Tadlock, Carol Deets, Sherry Pfaus, Doris Proctor, three brothers Glenn Reynolds, Kenneth Reynolds and an infant brother.

A Memorial Service will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the home of his daughter, Veronica, located at 32453 Seiler Rd., Townville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Mizner Funeral Home, 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
