Charlotte "Charlie" Sternby

The gentle spirit of Charlotte "Charlie" Sternby, age 82, of Saegertown, passed on September 30, 2021, surrounded by and in the hearts of her loving family.

Charlie was born on April 20, 1939, and grew up in Crawford County.

She was an active member of Saegertown United Methodist Church.

She married her high school sweetheart and soul mate, Ed Sternby, of Meadville. For 63 years they enjoyed building their life, family, farm, business, and world travel on their Harley. Charlie's life was blessed. Her family and friends were her joy. Her heart was full of love for many.

Charlie is survived by her husband, Ed Sternby of Saegertown; all those who called her mom Cathy and Bob Heist of Cape Canaveral, FL, Ed and Lori Sternby II of Economy, PA, Vic and Melanie Sternby of Economy, PA, Teresa and Dave Tujetsch of Indian Land, SC; and those who called her grandma/mum-mum Dusty and Rachael Heist Levine of Bozeman, MT, Dr. Doran and Sierra Heist of Merritt Island, FL, Lara Ylinen Heist and Johannes of Lahaina, HI, Tori Sternby and Rob Anderson of Allison Park, PA, Liz and Justin Lausch of Lititz, PA, Sarah and Mike Damico of Economy, PA, Heather and Mo Miloua of Valencia, PA, Nick Sternby of Philadelphia, PA, Amber Tujetsch of Pineville, NC, Trey Tujetsch of Indian Land, SC, Jim and Kathy Belfiore of AZ, Jeremy Belfiore of TX; eleven wonderful great grandchildren; and a sister Clarie Ramey of Meadville.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD ST., SAEGERTOWN, where a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor Jeff Little of Saegertown United Methodist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charlie's memory to Saegertown United Methodist Church, PO Box 689, Saegertown, PA 16433.

Charlie will be most remembered for her life's attitude to "live joyously, love freely, laugh often".
