Christine Lynn Manross

Christine Lynn Manross, 51, of 18285 Porky St., Saegertown, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Pleasant Ridge Manor, Girard.
Christine was born in Meadville on October 2, 1959, a daughter of Shirley (Scott) and the late Howard Worley. When she was very young, she was adopted by the late Charles Manross.
Over the years Christine did babysitting for numerous young children. She was also a caregiver for her grandmother, Louise C. Scott. For a period of ten years she was employed by Meadville Walmart. In her earlier years she attended Hamlin Chapel. Christine was a 1977 graduate of Saegertown High School. Her hobbies included crocheting, jewelry making, especially with beads and baking,; she was especially known for her sugar cookies.
In addition to her mother, Shirley Manross, of Saegertown, Christine is survived by a sister Melissa Dawn Manross of Meadville, three brothers Brian Manross of Saegertown, Michael Manross and his wife Debra, Kevin Manross and his wife Kristy both of Meadville, seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Worley and her step father, Charles Manross.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, withRev. Robert Fuller, Pastor of Littles Corners United Methodist Church, officiating.Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery, Saegertown.
