Clifton "Cliff" R. Gray

Clifton "Cliff" R. Gray, 62, of 159 Glenwood Ave., Meadville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 20, 2018, while at Hearts Content Hunting Camp in Warren County.

Cliff was born in Titusville, on September 22, 1955, a son of Ethel Irene (Johnson) and the late Cleophis Gray, Sr.

On August 21, 1975 Cliff married Angie Manning; she survives.

For nearly 40 years, Cliff was employed by Waste Management, formerly known as Aardvark Associates, where he began working shortly after his 1973 graduation from Townville High School. An outdoor enthusiast, Cliff enjoyed hunting and camping. He also enjoyed cooking, following the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis 500 on TV. He was a social member of VFW Post #2006 and of West Mead #2. His heart belonged to his grandchildren and he loved time spent with them and attending their activities. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife, Angie, of 42 years, Cliff is survived by two daughters Carlotta Adams and her husband David of Meadville, Megan Whitman and her husband Justin of Guys Mills, five grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlyn, Leland, Westin, Audreyann, his mother, Ethel Gray of NC, two sisters Sherry Davison, Stacy McClure both of Erie, five brothers Cleophis Gray, Jr., Yale Gray and his wife Marcia both of Erie, Dale Gray of Meadville, Pernell Gray of Charlotte, NC, Ty Gray of Erie, his special friend Kurt Kindervater and his family of Saegertown, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 4-7 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Going Home Service will be held at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 25th, with Pastor Richard King and Pastor Rachael Groll of Living Waters Church officiating.
