Cynthia R. Brown

Cynthia R. Brown, 66, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at home, following a 1 1/2 year long battle with breast cancer.

Cynthia was born in Lackawanna, NY on April 15, 1955, a daughter of the late Leslie A. and Kay (Miller) Meacham.

She had attended Gravel Run Church.

Cynthia was a 1973 graduate of Saegertown High School. She had been employed by Advance Cast for nearly 15 years before working as an assistant to Larry Price in his Real Estate Brokerage Firm. Due to her failing health, she left that position in 2020. A hard worker all of her life, Cynthia also worked at repairing and remodeling homes for many years. She enjoyed gardening and in her earlier years did cross stitch. An animal lover, it gave Cynthia great pleasure to care for her greyhound dog and to know rescue dogs found their way to a good home. She was a talented musician who had a strong voice in many choirs. Additionally she learned to play five instruments and was a member of a Junior Philharmonic in NY state. Her greatest joy in life was loving and caring for her family. She will be greatly missed.

Cynthia is survived by three children Jesse Kinder, Eric Kinder, Emily Kinder (Alexander Long) all of Meadville; five grandchildren Maxwell Brown, Olivia Kinder, Alexander Kinder, Alicea Kinder, Remington Kinder; a sister Linda Crecraft (Gordon) of Saegertown; a sister in law Crystal Meacham of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by a brother James Meacham.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12:30-2 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC, 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Alice McClymonds officiating.

Cynthia will be laid to rest in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
