Daniel "Danny" T. Donahue

Daniel "Danny" T. Donahue, 64, of Meadville, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 23, 2022, at home.

Danny was born in Meadville, on May 20, 1958, a son of the late John "Jack" and Frances (Simonetta) Donahue.

On July 15, 1989, Danny married Gail Barry; she survives.

He was a member of St. Mary of Grace Church.

In 1998 Danny established his auto body repair shop, Donahue's Classic Auto, which he still enjoyed owning and operating. From 1989-1998 he was employed by the family tool shop, Fibro Tool and Gage, LLC., and from 1987-1989 he was employed by Vicon Machinery. Danny graduated from Penn State Behrend in 1987 with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and from Meadville High School in 1976. A member of the Italian Civic Club, he was a former member of West Mead II. He enjoyed shooting pool in his pool league and he loved all things automotive. Working on and restoring classic vehicles for others and himself was his passion. He took pride in the finished products of his hard work. Danny had a light hearted personality and he looked for the best in others. He will be remembered for his home made bread and pizza as well as his big smile and kind hugs. He will be sadly missed.

Danny is survived by two daughters Amanda Donahue (Ryan Protzman) of Lewisburg, Carly Donahue (Zackary Johnson) of Meadville, four brothers Patrick Donahue, John Mark Donahue, Timothy Donahue, Sean Donahue (Lisa) all of Meadville; a sister in law Deborah Shields of Plymouth, NC; his two Chihuahuas Charlie and Nala; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 3-7 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the Italian Civic Club, 869 Water St., Meadville
