Darlene A. Harnett

Darlene A. Harnett, 74, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Darlene was born in Spangler, PA, on May 1, 1946, a daughter of the late Matilda (Rose) Harnett.

Darlene was of the Catholic faith.

A 1965 graduate of Cochranton High School, she began her 35+ year banking career at the former Pennbank in 1973 and retired from the former National City Bank in 2009. Her hobbies included drawing, painting with water colors and she enjoyed shopping on QVC.

Darlene is survived by two brothers Dennis Harnett (Colleen) of Boonsboro, MD, Richard Harnett of Texas; a nephew Bradley Smith (Alicia); two nieces Chelsea Freet (Joe), Hayley Gurtler (Zsolt); two grand nephews River Freet, Max Gurtler; a grand niece Madalyn Smith; and a dear and faithful friend Connie Graham of Meadville.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 1-3 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE. CDC guidelines will be followed.

Darlene will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township.
