David A. Gentle

David A. Gentle, 82, of Conneautville, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community.

David was born in Meadville, on February 15, 1941, a son of the late Philip A. and Gladys B. (Heyer) Gentle.

Over the years David had been employed by PennDot, as a security guard and by the former American Viscose Corp. A 1961 graduate of Meadville High School, David was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged.

David is survived by his sister Bonny Gentle of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 11 AM at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeff Lucas officiating. Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006 will follow.

David will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
