Dean E. Krupski Wilson

Dean E. Krupski Wilson, 94, of Saegertown, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at Wesbury.

Dean was born in Meadville on September 15, 1929, the daughter of the late Charlie and Katherine (Schreckengost) Smith.

On September 2, 2006 Dean married Marlyn Wilson; he survives. She previously married William Z. Krupski on July 14, 1948; he preceded her in death on March 31, 2001.

She was a member of St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, Saegertown, where she served as Eucharistic minister.

In 1988 Dean retired from Spectrum Control of Saegertown where she had been employed since 1976. She previously had been employed by the former GTI of Saegertown from 1958-1976. She was a member of Venango VFW Post #169 Auxiliary and Saegertown American Legion. Her hobbies included reading, playing BINGO., and bowling where she enjoyed bowling in the Cambridge Senior League.

In addition to her husband of 17 years, Dean is survived by two daughters Eleanor Geiger (Dan) of Venango, Lynda Wasson (fiance' Dan Haylett) of Meadville; a step daughter Correne Bratten (Michael) of OH; five grandchildren Dan Geiger, Jr., Tracy Wasson, Deana Reibel, twins Chris Wasson (Sabrina), Scott Wasson (Jody), four great grandchildren, Cody, Tanner, Sara, Garrett; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, William, of 53 years, Dean was preceded in death by two sister Virginia Nageotte, Mildred Monteleone; four brothers Kenneth, Merle, Stanley and Raymond Smith.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Wesbury's Memory Support facility for the loving care they provided to Dean.

Visitation is Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 2-5 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD ST., SAEGERTOWN.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, Renner Ave., Saegertown, with Fr. Jeff Lucas officiating.

Dean will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
