Della Marie (Sanfelice) Banta

Della Marie (SanFelice) Banta, 71, of 511 E. Elm St., Titusville, formerly of Meadville, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011, at home surrounded by her family.
Della was born in Meadville, on July 30, 1939, a daughter of the late Fred and Rita (Tagliaferri) SanFelice.
On January 22, 1993, Della married Perry J. Banta; he preceded her in death on August 25, 2002. She had previously been married to Clyde R. Sutton.
A homemaker, Della enjoyed raising her family. In her earlier years she was employed by the former Park Shoe Store and the YWCA, both of Meadville. Prior to her 1957 graduation from Meadville High School, she attended St. Brigid Catholic School. Della enjoyed shopping, staying in touch with family and friends by phone and participating in activities at the Senior Center of Titusville, especially taking trips with the group. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Della is survived by three children Julie Ann Sutton of Oil City, Diane Lee Sutton and her partner Patti Lesh of Guys Mills, Ronald E. Sutton and his wife Rhonda of Centerville, six grandchildren Joshua Sutton, Timothy Peterson, Hayley Sutton, Jason Sutton, Andrew Severo, Anthony Severo, a sister Patricia Dougherty and her husband Edward of Niles, OH, a brother Ralph SanFelice and his wife Julie of Sarasota, FL, two nephews Edward Dougherty, Jr., Michael Dougherty and his wife Gina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Perry.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, from 4-7 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335 where Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Megan Maly of Asera Care Hospice, Erie, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
