Delmas "Dusty" E. Johnson

Delmas "Dusty" E. Johnson, 57, of Cambridge Springs, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Meadville Medical Center, after a period of declining health.

Dusty was born in Meadville, on July 2, 1964, a son of Louine (Custard) Johnson and the late D. William Johnson.

On October 12, 1996 Dusty married Cynthia Bitting Johnson; she survives.

Dusty graduated from Meadville High School in 1983. He attended Crawford County Vo-Technical School in the Building Trade fields. Following his high school graduation he became a member of IBEW Local Union #1319 where he worked in the construction of electric lines. He also worked as a foremen for Asplundh Tree Service. Dusty continued to work for IBEW Local Union #1319 restoring electricity to cities during hurricanes Sandy, Rita, and Ike. He was a member of the American Legion Sons, Cambridge Springs. Dusty enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, following the Pittsburgh Steelers, cooking, doing Sudoku puzzles, and tending to his loyal dog, Lady. Dusty's laughter and sense of humor will be missed by many.

In addition to his wife, Cindy of 25 years, Dusty is survived by three sons Dusty Johnson (Jennifer), Bill Johnson, Adam Johnson; a step daughter Sara Foote; four grandchildren; his mother Louine Johnson; his siblings Donna Needler (Lee), Darrell Battles, Diana Walker (Bill), Deborah Dilley (David), Darla Martin (Paul), David Johnson (Sue), Denise Heavner (Arthur), Darlene Bowes (Roger); a sister in law Cheryl Carnicelli; his uncles Clarence Custard, James Custard, Richard Johnson, Joseph Johnson (Alice); many nieces, nephews cousins and close friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at St. Hippolyte Cemetery, Guys Mills Rd., Guys Mills.
