Dennis Roy Erie

Dennis Roy Erie, 58, of Townville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at home.

Dennis was born in Meadville, on October 8, 1966, a son of John and the late Joyce (Cypher) Erie, Sr.

Dennis was employed by SMS Millcraft of Oil City for nearly 20 years. He was a 1985 graduate of Meadville High School. He was a longtime fan of the Miami Dolphins. An avid outdoors man, Dennis loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. He enjoyed time spent with his family and many friends who were like family. Dennis will be remembered as a family oriented man who was caring, loving and supportive. He will be sadly missed. 

Dennis is survived by two children Gabrielle Erie of Pompano Beach, FL, Nicholas Erie of Cranberry Township; his father, John Erie, Sr.; brothers John Erie, Jr. (Carol), Anthony "Tony" Erie, Mark Erie (Heather) all of Meadville; nieces and nephews Tom, Robert, Matthew, Zoe, Catrina, Emma, and Lydia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Erie. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 6, at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeff Lucas officiating.
