Diane E. Degrange

Diane E. DeGrange, 82, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center, surrounded by her immediate family.

Diane was born in Meadville, on August 14, 1941, a daughter of the late Margaret "Marge" Kightlinger Kramer.

She married Dr. David DeGrange; he preceded her in death on February 13, 2011.

Diane was a 1961 graduate of Meadville High School. She enjoyed being a full time homemaker. She also enjoyed reading, dancing, staying active, being outdoors, biking, walking, Conneaut Lake and all the nature around it, especially frogs and butterflies.

Diane is survived by a daughter Karen Nies (significant other Francis J. Lander, Jr.); three grandchildren Megan Nies, Daniel Nies all of Meadville, Joey Nies of North Canton, OH; and a sister Barbara Hoke and her children Tom, Kathy, Kim, and Doug, all of Fayetteville, NY; and her close friend Erin Hershberger.

In addition to her husband and mom, Diane was preceded in death by a son, Michael Portfilio; brother in law Thomas Hoke; and her dear aunt Beverly Donahue.

Per Diane's wishes, no services will be held.
