Diane Katherine Longberry

Diane Katherine Longberry, 56, of 6203 Shaffer Rd., Cochranton, left the pain of this world on Thursday, September 02, 2010.
She was born September 1, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH and was raised in Toms River, NJ, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James C. and Betty D. (Haas) Petri.
Diane married Mr. Terry L. Longberry on August 3, 1996; he survives.
She formerly owned Pizza Pad Restaurant, Cochranton, Olde James Antiques,Vanguard Solutions Party Planning both on the Conneaut Lake Road and H. Leeon Co. Bridal and Formal in downtown Meadville with her husband. For eight years, Diane enjoyed mentoring young women in the Miss America Pageant System. She served Meadville Auxiliary 429, Fraternal Order of Eagles as Past Madam Trustee, Auxiliary Auditor, former Mother of the Year and currently as Madam Secretary. Diane was a duel member of Warren Auxiliary 313, F.O.E. and a duel charter member of Wattsburg Auxiliary 4516, F.O.E. Diane believed in the principals of God, Country and Home. Her excellent leadership will be missed by the Eagles. Diane adored her dog, Agnes, and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was a superb cook and had a vast knowledge of antiques, and treasured her many friends.
Left to mourn are her husband, Terry and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Clara M. Longberry, four children Mrs. Patricia Christine Gilliland, Mr. Harry Vannell IV and his wife Stacy, Mr. Thomas James Vannell, Ms. Jennifer Diane Vannell, five grandchildren Kelcie Renee, Harry V, Lindsay Katherine, Lilly Clara, Lexi Christine, one sister Ms. Beverly Dermody, one uncle Mr. George Haas and several cousins.
Diane had been affiliated with Deckards United Methodist Church and Little Cooley United Methodist Church.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 4-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335, where a final tribute to deceased member by Meadville Auxiliary 429, Fraternal Order of Eagles will be conducted at 7 PM.
Family and friends are also invited to call on Sunday from 4-8 at the Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home where Funeral Services will take place on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Christine Rogan, Pastor of Little Cooley United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will take place in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
