Dolores 'Dee' M. Offi, 90, of 451 Pine St., Meadville, passed away Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.
Dee was born in Pittsburgh, on July 15, 1923, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Harrison) Shapley.
On April 15, 1956 Dee married George W. Offi; he preceded her in death on July 14, 2007.
She was a member of First Assembly of God, Meadville.
After many years of service at the former Talon, Inc. of Meadville, Dee was hired as a cafeteria employee by Crawford Central School District where she worked for several more years. She was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed shopping, sharing lunch with with her close friends and visiting her children in the different states which in they lived. Her family was her life. She will be greatly missed.
Dee is survived by four children Leonard Priber and his wife Adriana, Donald Priber and his wife Patricia, Sheryl Ryan and her husband Michael, Michele Handel and her husband Brian, eleven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and three nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, George, of 51 years, Dee was preceded in death by a sister Gloria 'Bonnie' Gutowski.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 4-7 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at First Assembly of God, 719 Washington St., Meadville, with Philip Torre, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Twp.
