Donald L. Vosburgh

Donald L. Vosburgh, 79, formerly of 1120 Market St., Apt. 311, Meadville, passed away Friday, March 23rd, 2012 at Meadville Rehab. & Nursing Center, where he had been a resident since January.
Donald was born in Meadville on October 10, 1932, a son of the late Cecil E. and Florence E. (Shaffner) Vosburgh.
On May 11, 1955, Donald married Elizabeth 'Betty' Mercier; she preceded him in death on June 8, 2007.
Following his retirement from Ohio Steel, Donald had been employed as a security guard for Pinkerton Security and prior to his retirement by Channellock. A US Navy veteran Donald served our country during the Korean Conflict from May 21, 1951 until his honorable discharge on May 5, 1955.
Donald is survived by a son David A. Vosburgh and his wife Zelda of Maiden, NC, four grandchildren David Wayne 'DW', Stephen, Nikki, Joshua, one step grandchild Amanda, four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife Betty of 52 years, Donald was preceded in death by a sister Norma Vosburgh Smith.
Family and friends are invited to call from 2-5 on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM.
Interment will take place in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
