Donald William Beuchat

Donald William Beuchat, 85, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Meadville Medical Center.

Donald was born in Meadville, on April 18, 1937, a son of the late William J. and Violet (Baney) Beuchat.

On July 28, 1962 Donald married Martha Maziarz; she preceded him in death on January 30, 2019.

He was a member of St. Brigid Church.

After 30 years of service Donald retired as a railroad car repairman. He began his career with Erie Lackawanna Railroad in the mid 1960's. Donald was a 1955 graduate of the former Randolph High School. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Later in life he enjoyed playing cards as well as bowling and was a league member at Plaza Lanes. Donald possessed many handyman skills and was a "do it yourself" type of individual. He will be missed.

Donald is survived by three sons William Beuchat (Michelle) of Knoxville, TN, Mark Beuchat (Michelle) of McDonald, Gregory Beuchat of Meadville; five grandchildren Nicholas, twins Sarah and Katie, Amanda, Victoria; a brother David Beuchat (Jean) of Conneaut Lake; nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, with Fr. Joe Petrone, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Donald will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald's memory to Meadville Medical Center Foundation, 736 Liberty St. or The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, 353 Pine St., both in Meadville, PA 16335.
