Donna Lee Kawinski

Donna Lee (Henry) Kawinski, 52, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2020, due to a fall at her home in Hampton, VA.

Donna was born September 3, 1967, to the late Robert Watkins and Judith Boyles.

She was a 1986 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and received her B.A. from Thiel College. Of her achievements, her greatest was being a mother and grandmother. She moved to Virginia to fulfill her dream of living on the beach. She was also the owner/operator of Nana's Family Daycare, where she considered parents and their children family.

She is survived by her mother Judy; her husband Mark Kawinski; her children Courtney Meredith (wife Valerie) and their daughter Kimberlee, Joseph Dean and his sons Carter and Cooper, Marissa Kawinski, Sarah Sparks, and Carson Sparks. Also surviving is a sister Michelle "Shellee Henry" Williams (husband Bryan) and their children, Tyler, Cody and Kiersten; her brothers Ron Watkins, Robert Watkins II; and sisters Wanda Sharpe, Deborah Watkins and Becky Sheridan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and her best friend of 40 years Rosy (Lubresky) Ames.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandmother Essie Vanderhoff, sister Kimberly (Vanderhoff) Delp and step father William Boyles.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, with Rev. Jeff Conley of Meadville Alliance Church officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed.
