Dorothy Elaine Shawl

Dorothy Elaine Shawl, 80, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Friday, September 23rd, 2011 at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.
Dorothy was born in Meadville, on July 12, 1931, a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Marian (Koehler) W. Locke.
In June, 1955 Dorothy married Reuel E. Shawl.
Dorothy was of the Protestant Faith and had attended Saegertown United Methodist Church. She retired from the Crawford County Home where she had been employed for several years.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter Linda Lee Shawl, a son Brian A. Shawl both of Meadville, a sister Gladys Davis of Cambridge Springs, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by an infant child.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, September 25, 2011, from 1-3 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Kenneth Custer, Pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery.
