Dorothy Margaret (Stevenson) Fuller, 94, of Crossingville, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, at home.
Dorothy was born in New Castle, on November 28, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Wilhelmina (Copper) Stevenson.
On June 30, 1945 Dorothy married Gerald Fuller; he preceded her in death on December 29, 1994.
She was a member of St. Philips Parish, Crossingville.
At the age of 16 Dorothy graduated from high school and went to work as a cashier for JC Penny Co. She later became employed by the former Talon, Inc. and the former American Viscose where she met Gerald. She had also worked for the family business, Crossingville Dairy Isle. Dorothy enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She also enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flowers, reading, working crossword puzzles, playing cards with her family and playing with her little dog, Teddy. Her greatest joy came from helping, caring, sharing and loving all of her children and grandchildren. They were her life.
Dorothy is survived by five children Timothy Fuller, Bonita Boylan (Robert), Thomas Fuller all of Crossingville, Brenda Weidner (Joseph) of Thompson, OH, Cheryl Mueller (Steven) of LaGrange, KY, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, a special sister in law Shirley Stevenson, numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by all her siblings Mabel Porterfield, Mildred Williams, Florence Stevenson, Clarence Stevenson, Paul Stevenson, J. Norman Stevenson, Laura Titsler, Hazel Hardman and Richard Stevenson.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD STREET, SAEGERTOWN, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Rob Beardsley of First Baptist Church, Cambridge Springs, officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed.
Dorothy will be laid to rest in St. James Cemetery, Edinboro.
