Dyanna Lynn (Simpson) Holeva, 52, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.
Dyanna was born in Greenville, on February 22, 1969, a daughter of Margaret "Peggy" (Porfillio) and the late James W. Simpson, who passed away in 1999.
She had been married to Ken Holeva who passed away in October, 2020.
Dyanna was a member of St. Mary of Grace Church. A 1987 graduate of Meadville High School, she had been employed as a server at various Meadville establishments, most recently at the VFW. She enjoyed connecting with others on Facebook, especially with her Italian group. She looked forward to the time spent with her niece Allison, taking drives and going to McDonald's. She also enjoyed time spent with her mom, especially visiting the casinos together.
In addition to her mom and step dad Margaret "Peggy" and Pat McHale of Meadville, Dyanna is survived by three sisters Kathy Rugala Faller of Conneaut Lake, Gina Rugala Lowrie of Concord, OH, Tina Rugala Knapp of Meadville; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, Dyanna was preceded in death by a brother David Rugala; and a sister Annie Simpson.
Family and friends are invited to call from 12-1 PM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 PM with Fr. Joe Patrone, Parochial Vicar, officiating.
Dyanna will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dyanna's memory to Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
