Elizabeth A. Harris

Elizabeth A. Harris-Carter , 70, of Linesville, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.

Elizabeth was born in Beaver Falls, on August 16, 1950, a daughter of the late Staten and Gene (Williams) Harris.

A graduate of Beaver Falls Area High School, Elizabeth also attended ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown, OH and Harding University. Over the years she worked as a health care worker and also did secretarial work. Elizabeth had a deep appreciation for country living. She found peace in the scenery and the wildlife that nature provided. She enjoyed flowers and working in her yard. She liked collecting magnets and was interested in unique spices and seasonings. She was a devoted Christian who loved her old school gospel music as well as the classic sounds of Motown and the blues. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Stan, of Linesville, Elizabeth is survived by a daughter Tyra S. Rice of Youngstown, OH, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, several brothers and sisters including Dale Harris of Ellwood City, her dearest friends Mary Thomas and Kathy Kightlinger whose friendship was steadfast, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Marrquis "Dusty" Alexander.

A Private Memorial Service will be held in the future.
