Ellwood "Buss" E. Cridge

Ellwood "Buss" Cridge, born on June 16, 1922, a son of the late Elwood and Lena Cridge, died on June 19, 2017.

He served in the US Navy during WW II, from 1942-1945. Buss had his own garage in Mt. Oliver in Pittsburgh for 13 years and had also worked at Rohrich Cadillac in Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by Ruth (Bajoras) Cridge, his wife of 67 years.

He was the beloved father of his daughter, Linda (Dennis) Patton of Meadville and his son, Alan (Patricia) Cridge of Kettering, OH. He also leaves behind a brother Earl Cridge, a sister Shirley McCollum, both of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.

Buss will be laid to rest next to his wife, Ruth, in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
