Ann Emily Watson, 84, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, where she had been a resident since 2006.
Ann was born in Grindstone on December 1, 1926, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lakatosh) Oravetz.
Ann had married William Glenn Holmes; he preceded her in death in the early 1950s. On August 7, 1954 she married William B. Tausch; he preceded her in death on January 21, 1992. Subsequently she married Cyrus Watson on May 14, 1993; he preceded her in death on September 11, 1999.
She had attended Our Lady Queen of the Americas, Conneaut Lake.
Ann enjoyed being a homemaker. In 1945 she graduated from German Twp. High School. In her earlier years she had attended Real Estate school where she earned her Realtors License. Her hobbies included playing B.I.N.G.O., working crossword puzzles and sudoku puzzles. Ann was very loving and devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Ann is survived by a son Ronald Holmes and Mary Catherine Lapmardo of Warren, OH, two daughters MaryAnn Hewston and her husband Paul of Conneaut Lake, Susan T. Gizzie of Meadville, six grandchildren Danielle and Matt Hewston, John T. and Alec W. Gizzie, Katie and Theresa Lapmardo, one great granddaughter Kylie Holmes, two sisters Marge Slonka of Fort Pierce, FL, Elizabeth Dorsey of Greensboro, two brothers William Oravetz and his wife Judy of Cardwell, MO, Edward Oravetz of Uniontown, several nieces, nephews and her second family, the wonderful staff of Crawford County Care Center, who took such good care of her.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Ann was preceded in death by and a grandson Ronnie Holmes, Jr., three brothers Michael, Steve and Frank Oravetz.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Friday from 4-7 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335 where a scripture service will be conducted at 6:30 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2011 with Fr. Mark OHern, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Crawford County Care Center Social Fund, 20881 State Hwy 198, Saegertown, PA 16433.
